Email Accounts POP & IMAP

The main difference between POP and IMAP is where e-mails are stored.

What is POP E-mail?

POP accounts  download e-mails to your device and are then deleted from the server (unless you change the default settings). If you have these emails on one device only and your device breaks, you will no longer have access to these emails.

What is IMAP E-mail?

IMAP  e-mail accounts keep the  e-mails on the server, so you can access them from multiple devices. Delete on one, you delete on all.
